CuteCats Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

CuteCats (“the App”) is a mobile application published by Negant (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use CuteCats on iOS or Android, and how advertising works in the App.

2. What the App does

CuteCats is a creative app designed for children and families. You can pick a cat, customize its look (fur, eyes, outfits, toys, and backgrounds), save creations on the device, and export them for printing.

The App does not require an account and does not ask you to create a user profile.

3. Information we process

3.1 Information stored on your device

Cat designs and related preferences you create in the App are stored locally on your device (for example in an on-device database). This content stays on the device unless you choose to export or share it yourself (for example by saving or printing an image through the device system).

We do not operate a CuteCats cloud account that syncs your cat gallery to our servers.

3.2 Information we do not collect for App features

For core App features, we do not collect:

  • Names, email addresses, or phone numbers
  • Photos from your camera roll (unless you export/share using your device’s own share sheet)
  • Precise location
  • Contacts or social media accounts

3.3 Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App uses Google AdMob to show advertisements. Google and its partners may collect and process certain device and usage information to deliver, measure, and improve ads. Depending on platform settings, device permissions, and applicable laws, this may include:

  • Device identifiers (such as advertising ID)
  • IP address
  • Device and app technical information
  • Approximate location derived from IP address
  • Ad interaction and performance data

Where required, we configure ads for a child-directed / Families experience in line with Google Play and Apple policies. Ad personalization may be limited according to those policies and your device settings.

4. Children

CuteCats is intended for use by children and families. We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information such as name, email, or phone number inside the App.

Advertising is provided through Google AdMob. Parents and guardians can manage advertising preferences through device settings (for example, limiting ad tracking / resetting the advertising ID on iOS or Android).

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us directly (for example by emailing us), contact us at contact@negant.pl and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

5. How we use information

Information processed in connection with the App is used to:

  • Provide App features on your device (saving and exporting cats)
  • Show advertisements via Google AdMob
  • Measure ad performance and keep the App free to use
  • Respond to support requests you send us by email
  • Comply with legal obligations and store policies

6. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. Advertising-related data may be processed by Google AdMob and its partners as described in Section 3.3.

We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Negant, users, or others.

7. Data retention

Local cat creations remain on your device until you delete them in the App or uninstall the App. Uninstalling typically removes local App data.

Advertising data retention is controlled by Google according to its policies. Support emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and for ordinary business records.

8. Your choices and rights

You can:

  • Delete saved cats inside the App
  • Uninstall the App to remove local App data
  • Manage advertising / tracking preferences in your device settings
  • Contact us at contact@negant.pl to ask questions about this policy or request deletion of information you sent us by email

Depending on where you live (for example in the EEA/UK), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of personal data. To exercise those rights regarding information we hold, email us. For AdMob-related data processed by Google, you may also use Google’s tools and privacy settings.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information. Because most App content is stored locally on your device, protecting your device (passcode, OS updates) is an important part of keeping that data safe.

10. Third-party services

The App may include third-party services, currently including Google AdMob for advertising. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.

11. International transfers

Google and its partners may process advertising-related data on servers outside your country of residence. Where required, such transfers are handled under applicable legal mechanisms described in Google’s privacy documentation.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when changes are posted. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
